History

FireTech, LLC, is a Missouri-based design/build fire suppression contractor specializing in the design, service, sales, inspection and installation of fixed fire suppression systems. FireTech was founded in 2003 and is led by principals Jamie Howes, sales and project management; and Rich Fasching, installation and fabrication. FireTech acquired St. Louis-based Fire Sprinklers, Inc. in 2005, and has since expanded its new subsidiary’s operations. We have grown to a $10.5 million dollar contracting firm with a wide array of contracting experience. Active in the Midwest, our projects have included a waste water treatment plant in Omaha, Nebraska; The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana; and electrical generation plants in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. FireTech also has worked on a 26-story high-rise building, Roberts Tower in St. Louis, as well as large retail shopping stores, distribution centers, warehouses, loft apartments, condo developments and hospitals.

FireTech is working to keep up with changes in the fire protection industry and works closely with its staff to remain current on new code developments and material innovations. We are a member of the International Code Council and the National Fire Protection Association and these efforts have helped FireTech meet the needs of its clients. The company is positioned to handle 95% of all construction projects in its market. Our niche is design/build, researching codes and creating engineered drawings to help meet any fire protection need, or concern. To maintain its position and growth, FireTech is constantly looking to build and development its design staff through cross-training, allowing us to utilize innovation from one offering to the next.
